Codex is a Heroic Mortal, mutated by the Wylde. He has no memory of his life from before his emergence back into Creation, save that he did have one. Luckily for him, he was found wandering by his Uncle, who took him in. Codex has an insatiable Hunger for life energy, which he can drain from any living creature with skin contact. A sharp mind and a sweet tongue serve Codex better than any blade could, and people find his charm extremely hard to resist. He has embraced this part of him, and strives to sire more like him and become founder of a new White Court faction in Creation. His Uncle, on the other hand, has taken it upon himself to keep an eye on young Codex and keep this Curse from Spreading.

Emery loves nature. She apprenticed as an Apothecary at a young age, and spent a lot of her time outside of town. She learned how to identify many medicinal herbs, how to hunt with a bow and arrow, and how to survive on her own with nothing but her own mind. This is not saying she did not love her people, because she did. Returning to town one day she was distraught to find it in ruins, destroyed by one of the elemental dragons, who still circled over head. In a fit of sorrow and rage, Emery brewed the most potent poison she knew and, on a whim, added a strange flower she had found that day. She applied the poison to an arrow and fired it at the Dragon. Beyond all possibility, the arrow struck true, and the poison hurt the Dragon. The Dragon fled, and it was for this deed that she was chosen as an Exalted Twilight Solar. She strives to hunt down all the Elemental Dragons now, and rid Creation of those who destroyed her people.
